Join our DONA-approved Birth Doula Trainer, Emily Shier to learn more about this ancient healing art.
After delivery, women often feel depleted. Consuming the placenta is a powerful way of replenishing themselves. The benefits of placental consumption stem from the powerful hormones found in the placenta and can help increase energy and milk production, promote rapid healing, and help to combat the Baby Blues.
In this workshop participants will have a hands-on opportunity to prepare two placentas, one in a fresh preparation and one in a dehydrated/encapsulated preparation. Tools will be shared for participants to build their own placenta preparation businesses including contracts, labeling, lists of supplies needed, dosages, and other recommendations.
Participants for this workshop have included birth & postpartum doulas, midwives & midwifery students, birth assistants, body workers, hospital workers, RNs, childbirth educators, and curious lifelong learners.
This workshop is held offsite, in a home located within a few miles of Blooma Minneapolis. The address will be sent to participants prior to the workshop.
