Frequently Asked Questions:
What should I bring to class? Just yourself (and any babies or kids that are coming too). We have enough mats and props for everyone, but you can bring your own mat if you prefer. We have water, tea, blankets….everything to make you feel welcome and at home.
I have never done yoga before, is that okay? Totally! Our classes welcome people of all levels whether you are new to yoga or an experienced yogi. We invite everyone to go at their own pace and follow their own body.
I’m not pregnant/I don’t have kids, can I still come to class? Yes, everyone is welcome at Blooma. We frequently have classes filled with moms, non-moms, soon-to-be-moms, grandmoms, sisters, partners, neighbors, and more.
What if my baby cries in class or needs their diaper changed? No problem! Babies cry so it is bound to happen in class. You can always stop during the class to soothe, change, or feed an upset baby.
How long should I wait after having my baby before coming to class? This is different for every mama, so we recommended getting clearance from your doctor. Before you are able to get back to class, you can always join us for our FREE New Mama Group or Milk & Cookies Breastfeeding Support.
What kids class is appropriate for my little one? We have a variety of classes for different ages. Some classes have caregiver and baby/toddler together, other classes are drop-off classes where your little one takes class with out you. Check out our full description of classes to find one that is right for you.
