Join us in our effort to take the spirit of Blooma Yoga Studio "Off the Mat Into the World®"! Participate in these fundraising activities to help raise $20,000 this fall for Shanti Uganda, a nonprofit organization building a birth center to help save the lives of mothers and babies in Uganda, Africa, where 150 women die every week from childbirth-related causes.

PRENATAL YOGA EXTRAVAGANZA with

SARAH LONGACRE and Dr. TIM

After a fabulous Blooma Belly prenatal class, Dr. Tim Fargo of Chiropractic Health and Wellness Centers will teach you how to reduce the pains and discomforts associated with pregnancy, through safe and natural chiropractic care. He'll also give a hands-on demonstration of the Webster Technique, which is an effective method for rebalancing the pelvis and the ligaments supporting the uterus—and can be done at home with a partner.


Location: Blooma Yoga Studio for a 1-hour Blooma Belly Prenatal class and a
1-hour Chiropractic Care Demo

Support the sweet mamas of Uganda in true Blooma style! We’ll have a good time while supporting a good cause, enjoying cake, brew, live music, and more as we raise money to build a birth center that will help save the lives of women and children in Africa.

Donation Suggestion: $15, which is the price of a Birth Kit that contains the basic, sterile supplies needed to help a Ugandan mama bring her baby safely into the world. Additional donations are always welcomed and appreciated!

Share your heart and your resources to help save the lives of expectant mothers in Uganda, Africa, by supporting the Blooming in Uganda Off the Mat Into the World
® Seva Challenge to help build a birth center, provide prenatal education, and stop the maternal spread of HIV/AIDS. Have a good time supporting a good cause: cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, silent auction, and special guest speakers Krista Tippett, host of NPR's Speaking of Faith; and Matthew Sanford, paraplegic yogi, author, and founder of Mind Body Solutions.

Location: The Frederick R. Weisman Art Museum located on the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus in Minneapolis
Donation: $50 per person; all proceeds go to Blooming in Uganda
