Prenatal Yoga, Pregnancy, Blooma


Blooma offers a variety of classes for pregnancy, the postpartum period and beyond. We even have classes for people who aren't pregnant or mothering a little one--from kids to tweens to dads and grandmas and grandpas!

Below are our regular weekly classes, including prenatal yoga, vinyasa, barre, new mama groups and more. Find full details on our online schedule.

If you purchase the Blooma Pass, you can attend as many of these classes as you like for only $84 a month!  (Or $40/month for unlimited kids yoga classes!)

Prenatal Yoga
Designed to both nurture and challenge your body, Blooma prenatal yoga inspires trust in your birthing journey while providing an open community to discuss what you are experiencing. Whether you are a new or experienced yoga student, we'll guide you gracefully through meditation, breathing, and movement. You'll benefit from much-needed relaxation, while strengthening the muscles that support your baby during pregnancy and labor. Bring Your Own Baby Yoga  (aka "BYOB")

Nurture your baby while caring for yourself. Bring Your Own Baby Yoga invites babies and their caregivers (moms, dads, grandparents, nannies) to bond through loving touch, sight, sound, and movement. Let baby in on the yoga practice physically, mentally, and spiritually to build a strong bond of trust and security— the foundation of self-confidence for baby. While incorporating your little one into the BYOB yoga sequence, you also receive a nurturing, strengthening practice designed specifically for your postnatal body and spirit. The class offers a chance for moms to connect with other new moms, too. You'll find a warm, supportive community — essential during the postpartum period! Flow Yoga (for everyone)

Balance your mind and body during an invigorating vinyasa flow class. Teachers guide you through varying sequences of postures that integrate breath with movement, rooted through sun salutations. This yoga class welcomes women and men of all ages. | View Flow Yoga Schedule

Slow Flow (for everyone)
Ground yourself in this slow and refreshing practice of meditation, breath work, and asanas (postures) to support mind-body awareness.  An excellent complement to your Flow Yoga or Barre practice, great for postnatal moms and a wonderful way to wind down.  This yoga class welcomes women and men of all ages.   | View Slow Flow Schedule

Barre (for everyone)
Blooma Barre utilizes isometric movements to tone, lift, and engage muscle groups that you didn't even know you had. Each class is a blend of unique exercises on your mat or at the stable wooden barre and sometimes with a blend of cardio.  This class welcomes women and men of all ages.  | View Barre Schedule

Barre (for everyone; baby-wearing friendly) 
Caregivers are invited to bring their baby (birth to pre-crawling) along to this class to make getting in your workout a little bit easier while soaking up support from the community.  Instructors will offer a Blooma Barre class that is adaptable for babies in carriers.  Feeding or diaper changing in the space is welcome.  Bringing a baby is not required.  This class welcomes women and men of all ages.View Barre (baby-wearing friendly) Schedule

Movers, Pre-schoolers,Tots, Little Kids Happy Hour, Kids and Tweens Yoga
From 18 months - 14 years, we have yoga classes for your little one, kid, or tween, allowing them to step onto a yoga mat and learn to breathe, relax, and stretch their bodies. You may pay for your child's classes with your Blooma Pass!  Or purchase a pass just for them. | View Kids Yoga Schedule

Movers and Crawlers (with caregiver): Under 18 months (ready to move on from BYOB, not quite ready for Tots)

Little Kids Happy Hour (with caregiver): Crawlers up to age 3 or 4

Preschoolers: 3-5 years old

Tots (with caregiver): 18 months - 4 years old

Kids: 4-8 years old

Tweens: 9-14 years old

*Preschoolers, Kids and Tween Classes are Drop-Off (without parent/caregiver) classes

Rub-a-Dub Baby Infant Massage

Blooma Yoga, Blooma Mamas, Community
Healthy touch is essential to giving your baby a sense of peace and security in the world. In this class, you’ll learn infant massage techniques that convey your love and warmth and increase bonding between baby and parent (or other regular caregiver such as a grandparent). You’ll also take home knowledge of essential strokes that help soothe a gassy baby and encourage sleep! Parents are welcome to feed baby by breast or bottle and diaper change at any time during class.

• 1st Thursday of each month in Mpls, 12:30-1:30

New Mama Group

Blooma's New Mama Group offers moms the opportunity to connect with each other, ask questions, share advice, laugh, cry, and talk about life with a new baby. There will be a topic each week, but this group is very casual and designed for all mamas. Of course, babies are always welcome! Start at any time!  View Schedule

Welcome Baby Care Baby Weigh-in (Free!) 

These free weekly gatherings offer both peace of mind and a much-needed sense of community to the new mama.  Receive advice and perspective on feeding, sleep, developmental milestones, breast health, and much more as you weigh your baby, celebrate growth, and meet other moms.  Ask the Welcome Baby Care expert, who is both a Certified Postpartum Doula and a Certified Lactation Counselor.  Anything goes in these lively discussions! View Schedule
